These Terms of Service apply when you use nova-globen.se, contact Nova Globen AB, request a quote, apply for a service, or purchase services from Nova Globen AB.

If a separate written agreement, quote, order confirmation, Data Processing Agreement, or statement of work is agreed between you and Nova Globen AB, that document applies together with these Terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific written agreement applies for that project.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights that apply to consumers under Swedish or EU consumer protection law.

Language notice: These Terms are available in Swedish and English. The Swedish version is the legally binding version. The English version is provided for convenience. Non-Swedish business customers are advised that the binding text is in Swedish and may request a certified translation at their own cost.

1. About Nova Globen AB

Nova Globen AB is a Swedish limited company providing software development, web development, technical consulting, and managed website services.

2. Services

Nova Globen AB may provide services such as:

  • Software development.
  • Web development.
  • Technical consulting.
  • Website maintenance and support.
  • Static website hosting and deployment setup.
  • Domain and DNS assistance.
  • AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Managed Web Presence subscriptions.

The exact scope, price, timeline, and deliverables are defined in the relevant quote, order confirmation, subscription description, or written agreement.

3. Web Presence subscription service

The Web Presence service is a managed monthly website service for individuals, sole traders, startups, and small businesses that need a simple public website.

Unless otherwise agreed, the standard Web Presence package includes:

  • A static website using HTML and CSS.
  • Up to 5 pages or page sections.
  • Up to 30 optimised images.
  • Up to 2 languages.
  • Temporary Azure Static Web Apps review URL.
  • HTTPS.
  • Basic SEO metadata, robots.txt, and sitemap.xml.
  • Mobile responsive layout.
  • Up to 2 content update requests per month within the existing structure.
  • Domain connection assistance.

Unless otherwise agreed, the standard package does not include:

  • Shopping cart or checkout on the customer's website.
  • Online payment processing on the customer's website.
  • User accounts or login systems.
  • CMS or blog administration interface.
  • Email hosting.
  • Backend API or database.
  • Contact form on the customer's website.
  • Analytics.
  • More pages, images, or languages than the included package.
  • Copywriting, translation, logo design, photography, or branding work.
  • SLA-backed hosting.
  • Video hosting.

Add-ons and enhancements are quoted separately.

4. Application and acceptance process

The standard Web Presence process is:

  1. You submit an intake form.
  2. Nova Globen AB reviews the request.
  3. If the request is accepted, you receive the next steps for payment authorisation, subscription setup, domain verification, and content upload.
  4. Work starts after the required payment authorisation or subscription setup has succeeded.
  5. Nova Globen AB builds the website and provides a temporary Azure Static Web Apps URL for review.
  6. You either accept the website or cancel according to these Terms and any specific terms shown before payment.
  7. After acceptance, the payment is finalised or the monthly subscription continues.
  8. The website is connected to the final domain when domain registration or DNS setup is complete.

Nova Globen AB may refuse or cancel a request if the business, project, content, domain, payment, or use case is not suitable for the service, is prohibited by law, or is restricted by our payment, hosting, domain, or infrastructure providers.

5. Payment and subscriptions

Payments may be handled through Revolut Business or another payment provider identified before payment.

By authorising a payment or starting a subscription, you agree to the price, billing interval, service description, and cancellation terms shown to you before payment.

Depending on the payment flow used, the first payment may be:

  • authorised and captured later;
  • charged when the subscription starts;
  • charged when the website is accepted; or
  • charged according to a separate quote or invoice.

Payment card details are handled by the payment provider. Nova Globen AB does not store full card numbers on nova-globen.se.

If a recurring subscription is active, the subscription amount is charged monthly until cancelled according to these Terms or the payment-provider process.

6. Prices and VAT

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK). Your bank or payment provider will convert SEK to your local currency at their exchange rate at the time of payment. The final amount charged may differ slightly from any estimate shown at checkout. Nova Globen AB is not responsible for exchange rate differences.

Prices are shown in the VAT format stated on the relevant page, quote, payment link, or invoice.

For Swedish customers, Swedish VAT is added where applicable. Prices for consumers should be shown including VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. Prices for businesses may be shown excluding VAT if clearly stated.

For business customers in another EU country, reverse charge may apply if the customer provides valid business or VAT details and the transaction qualifies under applicable VAT rules.

For consumers in other EU countries, VAT may be handled according to applicable EU consumer VAT rules, including OSS where relevant.

You are responsible for providing correct billing, business, VAT, and contact information.

7. Delivery and review

Delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly stated as binding in writing.

For the Web Presence service, the normal target is to provide an initial website within 5 business days after Nova Globen AB has received the required content, payment authorisation or subscription setup, domain decision, and any other required information.

Delays may occur if required content is missing, payment or verification is delayed, domain verification or DNS propagation is delayed, third-party providers are unavailable, the requested scope changes, or the customer does not respond within a reasonable time.

A website is considered accepted when you confirm acceptance in writing, request final domain connection, continue using the website after review, or otherwise clearly approve delivery.

8. Revisions and monthly updates

The initial Web Presence build includes up to 2 reasonable revision rounds within the agreed scope.

After launch, the monthly subscription includes up to 2 content update requests per month within the existing structure. Examples include replacing text, changing images, updating contact details, or adjusting existing catalogue items.

The following are not included as standard monthly updates and may be quoted separately:

  • New page designs.
  • New sections beyond the included scope.
  • New languages.
  • Contact forms or backend features.
  • Shopping cart or payment integrations.
  • Analytics.
  • Major redesigns.
  • Copywriting, translation, or image editing beyond minor adjustments.

Unused monthly update requests do not roll over unless agreed in writing.

9. Domains and DNS

9.1 New domains

If you request a new domain, Nova Globen AB may check availability and register the domain through Cloudflare Registrar or another registrar.

Domain availability is not guaranteed until the domain is successfully registered.

If Nova Globen AB registers a domain at your request, the domain registration cost is payable once the registration is completed, even if you later cancel the website service.

9.2 Existing domains

If you already own a domain, you remain responsible for your registrar account, renewal fees, DNS provider, and domain ownership.

Nova Globen AB may provide DNS records for you to verify domain ownership, connect the domain to Azure Static Web Apps, configure www or apex records, and support HTTPS and domain validation.

DNS changes may take time to propagate. Nova Globen AB is not responsible for delays caused by your registrar, DNS provider, incorrect DNS entries, or domain ownership disputes.

9.3 Domain ownership and transfer

Domains registered for you are registered for your benefit. Where technically and commercially possible, you should be listed as the registrant or domain holder using the information you provide. Nova Globen AB may manage the domain and DNS during the active subscription.

Nova Globen AB will not intentionally hold a domain hostage. If you cancel the subscription and all outstanding domain costs and service charges are paid, Nova Globen AB will provide reasonable transfer or DNS handover assistance.

Nova Globen AB does not charge a punitive domain transfer fee. Third-party registrar, registry, ICANN, payment, or transfer fees may be passed through at cost.

Domain transfer may be subject to registrar or registry rules, including transfer locks, waiting periods, contact verification, or other restrictions.

10. Cancellation

10.1 Cancellation before website acceptance

If you cancel before accepting the website:

  • Nova Globen AB will cancel or release the payment authorisation where possible.
  • If a payment has already been captured, refund handling follows the specific payment terms shown before payment and mandatory consumer law where applicable.
  • If a domain has already been registered at your request, the domain registration cost remains payable and may be deducted from any refund or invoiced separately.
  • The temporary review website may be disabled.

10.2 Cancellation after acceptance

After acceptance, the Web Presence subscription continues monthly until cancelled.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • You may cancel without a long lock-in.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
  • No additional cancellation fee is charged.
  • No partial-month refund is provided unless required by law or agreed in writing.
  • Outstanding subscription charges, domain registration costs, domain renewal costs, or approved add-on costs remain payable.

To cancel, contact info@nova-globen.se or use any cancellation function made available on nova-globen.se or through the payment provider.

11. Consumer right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and purchase a service online or at a distance, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable consumer law.

Before payment or subscription setup, Nova Globen AB will provide information about the service, price, payment, delivery, cancellation, and withdrawal rights.

If you expressly ask Nova Globen AB to start work during the withdrawal period, you may have to pay a reasonable amount for work performed before you withdraw. If a domain has been registered at your request, the domain registration cost may be non-refundable once registration is completed.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact info@nova-globen.se or use the withdrawal or cancellation function provided on nova-globen.se if available. Your notice must clearly state that you want to withdraw from the purchase and should include your name, email address, order or subscription reference if available, and the relevant project or domain.

This section does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

12. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information.
  • Having the right to use all text, images, logos, trademarks, domain names, and other materials you provide.
  • Reviewing the website and notifying Nova Globen AB of issues within a reasonable time.
  • Keeping your contact and payment information up to date.
  • Maintaining access to your own domain registrar or DNS provider if you own the domain.
  • Ensuring your website content complies with applicable law.
  • Providing legally required business information for your own website where applicable.
  • Not submitting illegal, infringing, misleading, discriminatory, or prohibited content.

Nova Globen AB is not responsible for legal claims caused by content, materials, claims, products, or services provided by the customer.

13. Acceptable use and prohibited content

You may not use Nova Globen AB services for:

  • Illegal goods, services, or content.
  • Infringement of copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
  • Fraud, phishing, malware, spam, or deceptive practices.
  • Hate, extremist, or discriminatory content.
  • Adult sexual content or services.
  • Weapons or restricted goods.
  • Gambling, betting, or high-risk prize schemes.
  • Unlicensed financial, investment, lending, crypto, or insurance services.
  • Counterfeit goods.
  • Misleading health, medical, legal, or financial claims.
  • Any activity prohibited or restricted by our payment, hosting, domain, or infrastructure providers.

Nova Globen AB may refuse, suspend, or terminate a service if we reasonably believe it violates this section.

14. Third-party services

The services may depend on third-party providers such as Microsoft Azure, Revolut Business, Cloudflare, GitHub, domain registrars, email providers, file transfer providers, and AI-assisted development tools.

Nova Globen AB is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, price changes, processing delays, DNS propagation, domain registry decisions, payment-provider decisions, or other issues caused by third-party providers, except where mandatory law states otherwise.

If a third-party provider changes pricing or terms in a way that affects the service, Nova Globen AB may adjust the service, propose a new price, or terminate the affected service with reasonable notice.

15. Hosting and availability

Web Presence websites are normally hosted on Azure Static Web Apps.

The standard subscription does not include a separate contractual uptime SLA. SLA-backed hosting, higher bandwidth, advanced hosting, or special monitoring may be quoted separately.

Nova Globen AB may perform maintenance, updates, migrations, or configuration changes when needed. We aim to minimise disruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate SLA is agreed in writing.

16. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content, logos, images, trademarks, and other materials you provide.

After full payment of all amounts due, you receive the right to use the delivered website for your own project or business.

Unless otherwise agreed, Nova Globen AB may reuse general know-how, methods, layouts, code patterns, templates, and non-confidential technical components in other projects.

Nova Globen AB does not claim ownership of your business identity, domain name, or customer-provided content.

If you cancel the Web Presence subscription, Nova Globen AB may provide an export of the static website files upon request if all outstanding charges are paid. Hosting, deployment pipeline, provider accounts, and managed service setup are not automatically transferred unless agreed separately.

17. Personal data and data processing

Nova Globen AB processes personal data according to the Privacy Policy available on nova-globen.se.

If Nova Globen AB processes personal data on behalf of a business customer — for example through a hosted website contact form or similar feature — a Data Processing Agreement may be required.

You must not submit sensitive personal data unless Nova Globen AB has specifically requested it and appropriate arrangements are in place.

18. Confidentiality

Nova Globen AB will treat non-public customer project information with reasonable care. This does not prevent Nova Globen AB from using general knowledge, skills, methods, and experience gained during the work.

Confidentiality does not apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or required to be disclosed by law or authority request.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Globen AB is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or losses caused by third-party providers.

For business customers, Nova Globen AB's total liability for a service is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that specific service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

For consumers, mandatory consumer rights always apply.

20. Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy with a service, contact Nova Globen AB first at info@nova-globen.se and describe the issue clearly.

Consumers may have the right to bring a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN). Nova Globen AB will consider ARN's recommendations in good faith.

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence. EU consumers may rely on the consumer protection laws of their member state regardless of this governing law clause, in accordance with EU Rome I and Rome II regulations. UK consumers retain their rights under UK consumer law.

Disputes with business customers are handled by Swedish courts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

21. Changes to these Terms

Nova Globen AB may update these Terms when services, providers, laws, or business processes change.

The latest version will be published on nova-globen.se with the review date shown at the top. For active subscriptions, material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice where required.
